Tip: You can apply for your SSN at ANY local Social Security Administration Office in your State. When I had to apply for my SSN, we were living in a big city. The local office was always packed, and the staff was not friendly at all. I was so overwhelmed with all the forms and regulations, I could definitely use some good customer service. So I decided to apply at an office in a small town about 20 miles from our house. The service was much better, and also quicker. I had such a good experience, I decided to take my driver license test at the DMV office in the same town. And it paid off: I passed the test without a problem! |
